Dramatic Fanatics Improv Week 4!

This week our Dramatic Fanatics focused on creating a story through body language and collaboration. Students were placed in groups and provided a shape, object, or scene that they had to form together. A suggestion like "haunted house" is given and the students must interpret it and create a still "image" that represents the suggestion. Our students were so expressive and collaborated well! Another game we played was Freeze in which two players initiate a scene by posing in a certain posture. When another player yells "freeze!" each of the performing players freezes in place. The other player takes the same position as one of the performing players and begins an entirely new scene!

During this session we also reviewed our opening number, rehearsed our original sketch comedies, and practiced improvisational dance. It was a fun filled day, and we can't wait for next time!
