Yes And! January 24, 2020
This week students learned how to communicate with body language! This include improvised dancing, puppetry, improv games, and sketch comedy. One game involved students taking turns walking through a "park" and responding to other students as they entered as chosen characters. Together, the players developed a story. In our sketch comedy exercise, players got into groups and collaborated on a plot and characters to form a sketch. Students improvised plot ideas to begin developing their script, which will be performed at the closing program. So much was communicated using body language and specific character choices! Great work!
