Dramatic Fanatics Youth Theatre Course
The Plymouth Parks and Recreation Department is offering an eight-week “Dramatic Fanatics” theatre course for ages 7-14 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Conservation Club House in Plymouth on Thursdays from April 3rd through May 22nd. This course will involve students in a wide range of theatrical experiences including the production of an original play and training in acting skills, stage know-how, stage battle, puppetry, and improv.
For the closing Thursday, 5/22/25 6:00 PM free show, each student will:

participate in the performance of a play with music entitled “The Barking Lot” that affords balanced stage time and lines and offers solo opportunities. Dramatic Fanatics is a place “where every star can shine!”

be a player in delightfully presented improv games

demonstrate acquired stage knowledge with an entertaining “Drama Drill”

perform in a safe, fun stage battle scene or comedic puppet show

Free show from 6:00 to 8:00 following class on 5/22/25 at The Conservation Clubhouse. (Pizza will be provided to students during the 4-6 preshow class.)
