Dramatic Fanatics – Fall 2026 Youth Course

October 19 – December 7 | Mondays, 4:00 – 6:00 PM | The Rees Theatre, Plymouth

Enroll your child in a skill-oriented, fun course that will bring out the best in your young actor! Dramatic Fanatics combines drama and improv into an enriching and enjoyable curriculum, offered at the beautiful, state-of-the-art Rees Theatre. This is a place where every star can shine!

Sign your child up early and give them the opportunity to shine on the Rees Theatre stage while developing skills in leadership, presentation, auditioning, confidence, creativity, and readiness for future lead roles and opportunities.

🎭 What Students Will Learn
Throughout the session, students will dive into:

• Acting technique and stage presence

• Stage rules and stagecraft

• Basic stage battle — safe and exciting

• Puppetry performance

• Public speaking

• Improvisation games and creative thinking

This curriculum provides students with a wide range of training in both comedic and dramatic work.

 

🎬 Closing Program – Monday, December 7, 6:00 – 8:00 PM
Friends and family are invited to The Rees Theatre for a two-hour show with professional sound and lighting, featuring:

• Collaborative showcased performances

• An individual monologue from each student, performed as any character of their choosing

• An optional accompanying song — either an existing song or one professionally created for the student

• Tuition: $250

• Tuition Includes:

  • 20 hours of group instruction

  • At least two one-hour private sessions

  • A two-hour show with professional sound and lighting

  • Weekly class snacks, costumes, and props
