Dramatic Fanatics – Spring 2026 Youth Course

April 10 – May 29 | 4:00 – 6:30 PM | The Rees Theatre | Ages 7–14

Enroll your child in a skill-oriented, fun course that will bring out the best in your young actor! Dramatic Fanatics involves students in a wide range of theatrical experiences — from performing in an original musical to training in acting, stagecraft, stage combat, puppetry, and improv. This is a place where every star can shine!

🎭 What Campers Will Learn

Throughout the session, students will dive into:

Acting techniques and stage presence
Stagecraft knowledge and production
Stage combat — safe and exciting
Puppetry performance
Improvisation games and creative thinking
Creative movement and narration

🎬 Free Closing Show – Friday, May 29 at 6:00 PM

Friends and family are invited to enjoy a free performance at The Rees Theatre featuring:

Journey Into the Myth — an original mythology-themed musical with balanced stage time, lines, and solo opportunities for every student
Delightfully presented improv games
An entertaining "Drama Drill" showcasing acquired stage knowledge
A safe and fun stage battle scene
A comedic puppet show
Creative movement depicting narration and personal improvisation

(Pizza provided to students during the pre-show class!)
